The annual Juneteenth Parade and Picnic will be held on Thursday June 19th.
Come out and represent Galveston Island Democrats.

• 2:00pm Parade Lineup at 26th and Ball – need help decorating golf carts

• 3:00pm Parade begins and goes to Wright Cuney Park

• Picnic follows parade at Wright Cuney Park @ 40th and Ball

• Bring your lawn chair and non-alcoholic drink

• Order a KFC chicken meal* for the picnic. (or you may provide something for yourself)

• Lemonade, chips and cookies will be provided.

With our larger attendance, we are getting better organized – and we need more help!

• We need to know by Thursday, June 12 if you can provide a golf cart for the Juneteenth Parade on June 19.

• We need to know no later than Sunday,  June 15  if you plan to decorate golf carts and march or ride in a golf carts in the Juneteenth Parade on June 19.

• Everyone who participates in the parade needs to arrive by 2 pm on June 19 at 26th and Ball.
