has agreed to lead our book club in 2026.

Our first book will be:

Healing the Heart of Democracy: The Courage to Create a Politics Worthy of the Human Spirit.

 By Parker J. Palmer.

The club will meet:

Tuesdays, March 17th thru May 5th (8 weeks)

10:30 am – Noon

at

Pride Center Galveston

1502 39th Street, Galveston

The book is readily available online and at retail outlets.

Members will be reading together a chapter each week. There will be time for

reflection,  journaling and sharing thoughts and reactions about what was just read.
