It portrays the conflict between veteran journalist Edward R. Murrow and U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin\, especially relating to the anti-communist Senator’s actions with the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. It focuses on the theme of media responsibility and addresses what occurs when U.S. journalism offers voices of dissent from government policy. The movie takes its title from the line with which Murrow routinely signed off his broadcasts. \n  \nNOTE: Please arrive at 3:15 to line up outside the auditorium\, with the film beginning PROMPTLY at 3:30 pm. Together\, participants will stand as a living tribute to resilience\, remembrance\, and community pride. \nIf you wish to participate\, meet at the Great Storm Statue\, 4700 Seawall\, by 8:45 a.m. Wear your GID t-shirt/cap or a blue shirt. The schedule is as follows \n\n8:45 a.m. –  Line-up along the Seawall (or come early and enjoy the da\n9:00 a.m. – Photo opportunity and drone flyover\n9:30 a.m. – Ceremony at the Great Storm Statue with remarks by the Mayor and other community leaders.\n\nAll ages are welcome.
